So, we can't move into this beauty until around the 1st of September, but we are so excited. Although it is smaller than our last house, it has more rooms and has WAY more space than any other place we saw around here. It has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a study and a great backyard. We went back and looked at it again yesterday, and it made me so HAPPY. Maybe, it's because we're living in TLF right now and have been living out of suitcases for 2 months, but I really feel so blessed to have found this home. It's in a small hamlet, called Ickburgh. It's basically a one street + a few homes town. It's a beautiful drive to base and church and our house backs to fields and trees. It also has all of the amenities of a typical american home: dishwasher, washer, dryer, and an american-size fridge. Most homes don't have some or all of these things. It also has plenty of english character: no window or door screens, no a/c, and no mixer taps (except in the showers and kitchen). It does have a great fireplace and the kids love the mail slot in the front door.

Hip Hoorary for blogging!!! So glad you decided to do it, and hopefully you'll enjoy updating it. Welcome back. ;)
Marian, so good to hear about your beautiful family! I LOVE the home and am so excited for this new adventure. Hope everything goes smoothly! Only a few more weeks of TLF! You can do it!
Your house is so pretty, I love the brick and the roof and windows. All of the grass is so beautiful and green there! I'm guessing that comes with lots of rain, mist, fog - hopefully you're getting some sun also. :)
